Spotlight
Our more recent alumni, Aimee Seidler will be participating in the 3-Day Susan G. Komen walk in St. Pete from October 31-November 2, 2008. Each participant has to raise at least $2,200 to walk and she will be walking 60 miles within the 3 days! She camps out at night with the other walkers and survivors and is really excited about this life changing experience. If you are interested in donating money to Aimee, you can go to www.the3day.org and click on donate now. Then type in her name in the search field. Her name should then come up under the hometown of Massachusetts and then you can click on her personal page and donate from there. Even if you are not interested in donating, you should check out the site because there is a lot of great information about Breast Cancer. She is reminding everyone that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! "Did you know that one in eight women will get diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime?!?" So far she raised about $2,220 for the cause. She is really excited about the event and proud to be making a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Way to go Aimee!
